Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.One year of specialized experience performing duties similar to those stated above. This experience must be equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level to include:
Experience administering defined benefit and/or defined contributions plans and other insurance plans, including enrollment processing, claims administrations, processing retirement annuities, and providing customer service and problem resolution. Experience interpreting and applying Federal laws, administrative regulations, and policies related to benefits administration.
Experience providing a full range of supervisory duties to include employee evaluation, performance counseling, professional development, conflict resolution, and teambuilding.
Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing to present ideas and solutions in a systematic and logical manner referencing point of applicability or previous case/plan determinations. Experience in delivering plan information and training presentations to employees and staff members.
All Qualified applicants will be rated against the highly qualifying criteria by a rating panel for evaluation of the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience and education. Those applicants determined to be highly qualified will be referred to the hiring official for consideration. The highly qualified candidates may undergo an interview and reference checks.
Highly qualifying candidates will have previous experience in the administration of Federal/State employee benefits programs.
