Requirements:

To qualify as a GS-13, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal Service.

Specialized Experience : Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as providing authoritative technical advice and guidance to other victim assistance staff, managers, attorneys, and legal support staff; responding to data calls and required compliance surveys and audits; maintaining financial records, participating in audits and submitting financial reports and documents as required; and developing procedures for identifying, tracking, and managing victim cases.


Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. If your agency has notified you in writing that you are a displaced employee eligible for ICTAP consideration, you may receive selection priority if: 1) this vacancy is within your ICTAP eligibility; 2) you apply under the instructions in the announcement; and 3) you are found well-qualified for this vacancy.
